Hawai‘i relies heavily on shipped-in fossil fuels to power the islands, and until recently, there hasn’t been an objective assessment of what is needed to become energy independent.
We worked with the Blue Planet Foundation and Wall-to-Wall Studios (providing the print version) to create data visualizations based on economic data to be presented at the annual Asia-Pacific Clean Energy summit, looking at five key components to track energy independent progress. This project has won two American Advertising Awards and an American Institute of Graphics Arts Award for web design.
